The Best Cash Back Reward Credit Cards

4 minute read

If you’re spending money everyday, why not try earning some of that money back? You can do exactly that by using a cash back reward credit card. Cardholders can earn a percentage of cash back on purchases, which can then be used to pay off your balance and pay for future purchases. You can even turn those cash back rewards into money to use at various online retailers. If you want to make the most out of your credit card use, search online to find a cash back rewards credit card with great perks.

Different credit card companies have various cash back percentages, annual fees, and interest costs. That’s why it’s important to compare a few cash back credit cards before choosing one. Start an online search to find the cash back credit card that’s right for you.

Here are some of the best cash back reward credit cards.

Blue Cash Everyday Card from American Express

Make the most of your everyday purchases with the Blue Cash Everyday Card from American Express. This card will give you six percent cash back at supermarkets, six percent cash pack on select streaming subscriptions, and three percent on transit. You will also earn three percent cash back for pumping your gas and one percent back on all other purchases.

American Express says you can get $195 cash back in one year just by spending $125 every two weeks at grocery stores with your card. And right now, new customers can earn $300 back after spending $1,000 in purchases on your new card within the first three months.

Discover it Cash Back Card

You can earn cash back on just about anything by using the Discover it Cash Back card. Every quarter, you will get five percent cash back on everyday purchases. This includes places like restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and online places like Amazon and PayPal. On all other purchases, you will earn one percent cash back automatically.

Not only that, but you will also automatically get an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match on all the cash back you’ve earned at the end of your first year. Your cash back never expires, and it can be redeemed for any amount in three ways: deposited as cash into your bank account, applying it as a statement on your credit card balance, or to pay for Amazon and Paypal purchases.

Citi Double Cash Card

One of the easiest everyday cash back cards to use is the Citi Double Cash Card. You can get unlimited one percent cash back on everything you buy, plus another one percent back as you pay for those purchases. This means you can receive rewards in two ways — by making purchases and by paying off your balance all at once or over time.

To earn points by paying off your purchases, you need to at least pay the minimum due on time. Many credit cards have limits on the points you can earn. But with the Citi Double Cash Card, there are no caps on the total amount of cash back you earn.

Chase Freedom Flex Credit Card

There are plenty of benefits to take advantage of when using the Chase Freedom Flex Credit Card. You can earn five percent cash back on up to $1,500 on combined purchases in bonus categories. Cardholders can earn five percent on travel, three percent on restaurants and drugstore purchases, and one percent on everything else.

New members can receive a $200 bonus after spending $500 on purchases in the first three months. Plus, you can earn five percent cash back on grocery store purchases in the first year. Your points will never expire, and there is no minimum to redeem for cash back.
