If you’re considering purchasing a Chevrolet vehicle, then you’re thinking about buying a piece of American history. The Chevrolet company has been creating high-quality vehicles since 1911.

You can rely on a Chevrolet not just to be affordable and gorgeous but to also allow you easy auto repairs. Chevrolets are not manufactured with undecipherable or encrypted processes. The manufacturer allows you, the vehicle owner, to understand how it works, and how to fix it.

Chevy has a car for every type of consumer. It has a model that is fast and sassy, and it has a model that is vastly classy. If you’re the traveling type, Chevy has an SUV just for you. If you need a truck that can do double-duty as a work vehicle, you’ll enjoy one of the strong Chevy trucks that are on the market.

The following are some of the vehicles that you will be considering if you are considering Chevrolet’s 2016 lineup:

The Chevy Sonic

The Chevrolet Sonic is the car that you want to buy if you are looking for a vehicle that is light on the wallet but heavy on the unique features. It is one of Chevy’s economy vehicles, and it starts with an MSRP of a little more than $14,000.

Despite its seemingly small size, the Sonic is a roomy option. You’ll receive about 47.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats down. As far as head room, shoulder room and leg room go, you will have the pleasure of getting about 38, 53 and 41 inches of all of the above.

The features that the Sonic has are unbelievable. The convenience features include the Remote Link system that allows you to start the vehicle from a remote location, the Bluetooth feature that’s good for travelers who want to connect their devices to the vehicle wirelessly, and the 4G LTE that lets passengers connect items like their tablets, laptops and notebooks to your vehicle.

Safety features are abundant in this model, as well. Some of the safety features that you will have access to are the Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and Rear Vision Camera. You will be happy with all that you have in this vehicle.

Fuel efficiency

The fuel efficiency is awesome in the Sonic. You can get up to 40 miles per gallon on the highway.

The Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent are vehicles that are in the same class as the Sonic. The Sonic stacks up well, beating the other two models in horsepower, room and features.

Pros and cons

Consumers who drove the Sonic praised it for its fuel economy and its cargo space. Some consumers didn’t care for a few of the quirks like some hatchback sounds and ignition challenges.

The Chevy Impala

The Chevy Impala is the vehicle that you will want to have if you like speed and class. It is known for its huge amount of cargo space and its powerful engine. It is a top choice for muscle car enthusiasts who do not have quite enough money for the muscle.

The price of the Impala starts at a little more than $27,000. The cargo space in this vehicle is more than 18.8 cubic feet. The front head room is more than 40 inches. The shoulder room is more than 57 inches, and the leg room is more than 45 inches.

The Impala comes jam-packed with a slew of features that you and your passengers will love. First, you get to enjoy the technological features such as the Apple CarPlay, streaming music and Remote features. You will be safe in the Impala because of features like the Forward Collision Alert, Blind Zone Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The Ford Taurus and the Toyota Avalon are the closest vehicles to the Impala in league. The Impala blows the other vehicles away in horsepower, and it beats the Avalon in price. The Impala has more features than the Taurus does, as well.

Fuel efficiency

Fuel efficiency on the Impala is good for its size. You will be able to get as much as 29 miles per gallon on the highway if you choose the 3.6-Liter V6 motor.

Pros and cons

Customers who owned the Impala raved about its spacious cabin and its comfortable ride. They were not very pleased with its laggy touchscreen or its interior colors, however.

The Chevy Camaro

The Camaro is the sports option for people who are die-hard fans of the Chevy muscle. It has everything that one could ever want in a muscle car.

The starting price on the Camaro is $25,700, which is affordable for a middle-class buyer.

The Camaro does not slack on safety, technology or any other feature. Riders can feel safe knowing that they have features like StabiliTrak, Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert to protect them. Tech features include 4G LTE, Apple, CarPlay, Remote Key Lock, SiriusXM and Chevy MyLink.

The Chevy Camaro stacks up against competition like the Ford Mustang quite nicely. It has more interior and exterior features than both of its main competitors have. The front head room beats that of the Mustang, as well.

Fuel efficiency

The fuel efficiency on the Camaro is what you may expect for a muscle car. You can get a good number of miles per gallon from the Camaro’s 2.0-Liter option.

Pros and cons

Consumers gave the Camaro praise for its handling and its performance. The cons that they mentioned were its rearward visibility and some slight racket.

Other Chevrolet vehicles that you may want to consider purchasing are the Chevrolet Equinox and the Colorado. The Equinox is for SUV lovers, and the Colorado is like the baby version of the Silverado. It will do you quite well if you like trucks. No matter what you choose, you are sure to be happy if it’s a Chevy.
