Honda is one of the leading manufacturers consumers consider when they decide to purchase vehicles. The reason? Honda has proven itself many times to be a creator of long-lasting and reliable vehicles. The Honda vehicles of current times also have a ton of safety features and technological features.

The current lineup includes cars for long trips, sporty vehicles, trucks, economy cars and more. The following are some of the cars that you will see in the lineup if you are looking to purchase a Honda now:

The Honda Ridgeline: Truck Lover’s Dream

The Ridgeline is an excellent choice if you like pickup trucks. It is Honda’s only offering of such a vehicle type, but don’t let that make you skeptical. The Ridgeline has several amazing features, including its ability to tow a heavy load.

MSRP and specs

The Ridgeline starts at a hair more than $29,000, which is a fair price for a pickup truck. It comes with a whopping 109 cubic feet of space in the interior, and five people can fit inside the vehicle. It is a highly comfortable vehicle to enter.

Unique features

The Ridgeline has many features worth writing home about. The Blind Spot Visibility System is cool because it allows the driver to see what is going on in the blind spot on the digital monitor. The Remote Engine Start is another helpful feature that allows the driver to start the car from afar. The model is also equipped with cameras and live videos.

Competitive stack-up

The Toyota Tacoma is the truck that is in the Ridgeline’s league. The Ridgeline provides better off-road traction, performance and room than the Tacoma provides.

Fuel efficiency

The Ridgeline gets about 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. That’s a great fuel efficiency for a truck.

Pros and cons

Customers appreciated the Ridgeline for its technology and comfort. The areas that they said needed work were areas like the interior styling.

The Honda Civic: Total Fuel Economy

The Civic is the perfect model for the college student and the commuter. It has the right costs, looks and features for people from all walks of life.

MSRP and specs

The Civic’s starting price is not much more than $19,000, and consumers know that they are getting a whole lot of car for their money. The Civic seats up to five people and offers 12.1 cubic feet of cargo volume. Front seat dwellers will have access to 34.6 inches of headroom, 42.3 inches of legroom and 56.9 inches of shoulder room in the front of the vehicle.

Features

The Civic has a lot of safety, technology and other features to share with its drivers and passengers. Some of the safety features that the model has are features such as Hill Start Assist, Engine Immobilizer, Electric Parking Brake and more. Shoppers can also enjoy features like Bluetooth, HondaLink, Pandora Radio and the like.

Competitive stack-up

The Civic has better fuel efficiency and more features than some of the other vehicles in its class like the Chevrolet Sonic.

Fuel efficiency

The Civic has one of the highest fuel efficiency numbers on the market. It can provide its riders with more than 31 miles per gallon in the city and 41 miles per gallon on the highway. That is music to the ears of anyone who has to travel a lot.

Pros and cons

Consumers love the Honda Civic for its fuel efficiency, handling and overall comfort level. Some people felt that the vehicle could have had a bit more space in it.

The Honda CR-V: Family Ride

The Honda CR-V is the vehicle you will want to buy if you have a large family or you go on a lot of road trips. The CR-V is an SUV that has great gas mileage and a ton of other features that you will love.

MSRP

The starting price for the CR-V is a little less than $24,000. It seats up to 5 people and offers 70.9 cubic feet of cargo space. The CR-V is an award winning vehicle. It won the award for one of the 16 Best Family Cars, according to the good folks at Kelley Blue Book.

Features

The CR-V is jam-packed with safety features, technology and so much more. Some of the features that you will see in the CR-V are the 7-inch display screen, USB Interface and more. Safety features include Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and a Collision Mitigation Braking System.
