Terms of Use
Beta version · Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms cover your use of Check In, a text-message companion for GLP-1 questions run by System1 as a private beta. By asking for an invite or texting Check In, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older and in the United States.
- During the beta, Check In is open to System1 employees and people who've been given a passcode. Invite codes are single-use and personal; please don't share them.
- We may pause, change or end the beta, or anyone's access to it, at any time.
Not medical advice
Check In is an AI. It isn't a doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare provider, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or prescribe. It shares general information and suggests questions to bring to your own clinician. Never start, stop, skip or change a medication or dose because of something Check In said. Read the full Medical disclaimer.
Check In is not for emergencies. If you might be having a medical emergency, call 911. If you're thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988.
Text messages
- You start the conversation by texting Check In. It replies to your messages; message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Text STOP to opt out, START to opt back in, HELP for help, and DELETE to erase your data.
- Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
AI can be wrong
Replies are written by an AI model. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when they sound confident. Check important information with your clinician or pharmacist, and with the label that came with your medication.
Using it fairly
Please don't use Check In to break the law, to harass anyone, to try to get around its safety checks, to overload or probe the service, or to get other people's information.
The beta
Check In is free during the beta. It's provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may have bugs or downtime. To the extent the law allows, System1 isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using it, and its total liability is limited to $100.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the beta changes. If a change matters, we'll tell you by text before it takes effect. Continuing to use Check In means you accept the update.
